Physical At the age of 3, children are
capable of walking and running
with increased confidence, as
well as engaging in activities
like kicking and throwing. For
instance, they can enjoy games
of fetch or catch using a small
foam ball. Additionally, they are
adept at kicking a soft, foam
ball of football size. Their
mobility extends to riding a
tricycle or a scooter. Notably,
they begin to demonstrate finer
motor skills, like using their
hands to manipulate zippers
and buttons, showcasing their
developing dexterity
Social Children can learn to
communicate with others and
share and develop
empathy with others and take
in turns. They learn to greet
others and use ‘please’ and
‘thank you’. This way they learn
how to interact with others in a
polite manner. They can learn
to respect boundaries and
personal space. The child can
play with others in a healthy
way. Children can also talk to
others with respect and talk at
an appropriate volume (indoor
voices).
Intellectual Children are curious and want
to explore things at this age
they want to understand how
things work. Their imagination
is growing they are making up
stories and love to play
pretend. They also start to
learn how to count and
recognise colours and shapes.
The memory starts to get better
as well. They also can
understand stories that are
read to them as well as that
they can retell parts read to
them.

eye coordination skills they can

easily. They are able to ride a
bike or scooter with more

to use more objects with their
hands like scissors not just that

Children progress by sharing
(taking in turns) and expressing
their emotions and dealing with
it in a appropriate way . they
can also learn how to deal with
conflict and instead
approaching it with anger and
aggression they should
approach it with a more better
way (like finding a resolution to
it).We should also teach them
to follow instruction in school
and in new environments/
places and ask for help when
they need it. As children
continue you to develop
communication, empathy and
kindness.
At the age of 4 they become
more curious and ask lots of
questions about the things.
They can remember things
better and talk about things
that they saw and have done.
They also like to use their
imagination and make up
stories. They can count and
recognize numbers, and play
with puzzles and toys to
challenge their mind. Overall,
their minds are becoming more
active and they're eager to
learn and explore new things.
