fitted with operating controls. The unit is designed to receive liquid carbon dioxide or nitrous oxide at an inlet pressure of about 300 PSIG (17.6 kg/cm2), and deliver it into portable cylinders at a regulated pressure ranging from about 400 PSIG (28.2 kg/cm2) to 900 PSIG (63.3 kg/cm2).
For filling of conventional industrial cylinders a
fill manifold and scale(s) are required. This equipment is sold separately. Contact CryoVation for various models available, ranging from manually operated to fully automated.
Features
• Pump – Single-stage, single-acting transfer pump
with automatic safety bypass valve. The unit is intended for handling liquid carbon dioxide and, when properly cleaned for “Oxygen Service” and lubricated with “Halocarbon” oil, for liquid nitrous oxide.
Performance cooled motor drives the pump through a pulley and triple V- belt combination. The data plate on the motor will identify voltage requirements and special characteristics.
• Automatic Bypass Valve - This valve serves to
relieve the system pressure when discharge flow has been stopped or exceeds 1000 psi (70 kg/ cm2). Bypass liquid is returned to the liquid supply vessel.
• Pressure Gauge - This liquid-filled gauge indicates
delivery pressure at the discharge of the pump.
• Relief Valve - A relief valve is installed in the
discharge line to protect the pump from possible over-pressurization.
