Dear Students,

3rd STEM Programming Competition Announcement

In alignment with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid
Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has
designated 29 October as a day to honor coders and programmers, the
College of Engineering at Abu Dhabi University is thrilled to announce the
3rd Annual STEM Programming Competition. This event promises to be a
cycle that is a more engaging and educational experience than its
predecessors.

Participants have the opportunity to collaborate in groups of, to program


solutions for 10 STEM problems, using any programming language.

The competition features two tracks: Track 1 for Cycle 2 students in


grades 6-8 and Track 2 for Cycle 3 students in grades 9-12.

Rewards:
• Certificates for all participants who solve one or more problems
• Recognizing the Top Ten Tournament schools
• Social media coverage and recognition for participating schools
• First, second, and third place winners in Track 1 - Cycle 2: AED
2,500, 1,500, and 750, respectively. All team members equally
split the rewards.
• First, second, and third place winners in Track 2 - Cycle 3: AED
3,000, 2,000, and 1,000, respectively. All team members equally
split the rewards.
• Winning team members will be invited to the College of
Engineering Future Researcher Mentorship program, where they
can work with our esteemed faculty in collaboration with their
school on research project.

The competition will occur both on campus and online on the 26th of
October, from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM.
