Firstly, In the quote ‘’ ‘Out damned spot I say…’’’ Lady Macbeth beings

hallucinating things that aren’t there. In this situation she’s re-imagining

Duncan’s blood. The use of the word ‘’dammed’’ shows her desperate need to
get rid of Duncan’s blood. She feels this because she’s starting to feel guilty
and is now suffering while losing all control of her thought and maybe even her
emotions.
Secondly Lady Macbeth exposes her husband and her committed crimes by
(while sleep talking) says ‘’ The thane of Fife had a wife: where is she now? — ‘’
In this quote, she refers to the people Macbeth hired to kill all of Macduff’s
family. She askes this as a question and she isn’t too sure of anything. We
know this because her state of mind at this time is unable to process of her life
and what is going on around it.
In addition, in the quote ‘’all the smell of blood, all the perfumes of Arabia will
not sweeten this hand oh oh oh ‘’ Lady Macbeth symbolizes the smell of blood
with all her crimes she committed and that she can’t get rid of it. The
repetition of the word ‘’oh’’ shows guilt of what she has done and is leading to
her dearly regretting all the wrong things she has done

Furthermore, in thew quotes ‘’where is the wife of the thane?’’ and ‘’ will
theses hands ever be clean?’’ She starts asking lots of questions to Macbeth.
She asks questions because she used to be in control and know what was going
on, but it her hallucinations she has grown weaker and wasn’t over power d
over Macbeth and this led to her not knowing what Macbeth does.
Lastly, with evidence from the quote ‘’Wash your hands put your night gown,
Banquo is buried’’ Lady Macbeth is displayers as incredibly confused with
herself because she gives Macbeth the orders, she gave him in the murder of
Duncan but refers to Banquo as buried. This presents to us that she is mentally
ill and is confused with the past events of the assassination of Banquo and
Duncan with the deep guilt of all the sins she has done
