Ladies and gentlemen, welcome and thank you for taking time to watch this play of ours.
We are thrilled to have you here with us today. It is our pleasure to provide you with an
entertaining performance. Our performance is all about portraying the message of a poem
entitled “Desiderata”. Desiderata is a poem written by Max Ehrmann way back 1987.
This poem emphasizes and conveys a message about kindness, tolerance, being respectful
to others and striving to become a better person in a world that doesn’t always treat you
fairly. This play of ours is a work of fiction. Unless otherwise indicated, all the names,
characters, businesses, places, events and incidents in this play are either the product of
the writer’s imagination or used in a fictitious manner. Without further ado, let the play
begin.
