B. GENERAL RULES:
1. Participants must be registered Senior Scout, Rover Scout and Girl Scout.
2. Contestant in every event must wear shoes for safety purposes.
3. Contestants must wear Type C for Boy Scouts and Camp Uniform for Girl Scouts during the
contest
4. Wearing of neckerchief and ID at all times inside the camp is a must.
5. In relay events, the runner must pass the neckerchief before the next runner runs
6. All materials shall be provided by the participating contingents.
7. Additional 10 seconds in every error.
8. No entry from each contingent shall be disqualified due to number of errors.

11. Cheating is strictly prohibited. Any act of cheating will mean NO ENTRY.

C. TROOP EVENTS
1. FANCY DRILL (SENIOR SCOUT AND ROVER SCOUT)
Participants: 35 scouts including troop leader and flag bearer
Uniform: Complete Type “A” Uniform (Long pants or Short Pants)
Time Allotment: 5 – 6 minutes only which excludes reporting and rank inspection

Rules:
- The participating contingent shall be given six minute time frame for their
performance.
- One (1) long whistle blast indicates that the group already reached the minimum
time of five (5) minute time frame.
- Two (2) long whistle blast indicates that they already reached the six (6) minute
time frame.
- One (1) point shall be deducted from the GROUP’S SCORE if the performance
exceeds the six (6) minute maximum time frame.
- One (1) point shall be deducted from the GROUP’S SCORE if the performance does
not reach the five (5) minutes minimum time frame.
- Deductions of error will be effective at the end score of every entry.

Rules:
- The participating contingent shall be given seven (7) minute time frame for their
performance.
- Each participating contingents shall select their own piece provided it has moral
value or lesson in the presentation base on the theme “Commitment to Excellence”.
- Song, yells, drama and comical skits are allowed.
- All electronic gadgets and instruments is strictly prohibited.
- Any unscout-like manner or behavior is strictly prohibited and using of green words
in their performance will mean NO ENTRY, but allowed to finish their performance.
- One (1) point shall be deducted from the GROUP’S SCORE if the performance does
not reach the five (5) minute minimum time frame.
- One (1) point shall be deducted from the GROUP’S SCORE if the performance
exceeds the seven (7) minute maximum time frame.
- Props must be decent and must not be prone to accident or danger

D. PATROL EVENTS
Rules and guidelines for Skills –O- Rama
No field recorder/judge, no play policy.
BSP Coordinators, Outfit Advisors and Senior Patrol Leaders are not allowed to
enter the arena during the contest and during the judging time.
ONLY the Patrol/Crew Leader should remain and shall watch during the judging
period.
Patrol/Crew Leader is allowed to clarify the judge’s decision during the JUDGING
PERIOD ONLY. After the judging, he/she will no longer be entertained anymore.
DECISION OF THE JUDGES IS FINAL AND IRREVOCABLE
1. COMPASS RELAY
Incharge : Sctr. Glenn P. Mendoza
Participants: Eight (8) Scouts
Materials: 16 wooden tiles or illustration board
Dimension: 2 x 3 inches
Letter Size: 1.5 inches (h) x 1 inch (w)
Rules:
- All 16 wooden tiles or illustration board shall be placed on the ground. At the signal
“GO”, the scout number one (1) to the tiles and pick up two (2) tiles only and place it
on the ground according to its direction. Go back to the starting point and pass the
neckerchief to the scout number 2 who will do the same up to scout number 8.
ONLY SCOUT NUMBER 8 IS ALLOWED TO REARRANGE THE TILES ONLY ONCE BUT
ONLY ALLOWED TO PICK UP 2 TILES AT THE SAME TIME.
- Tiles must be painted white back to back.
2. MESSAGE RELAY
Incharge: Sctr. Ronald H. Escuadro
Participants: Eight (8) Scouts
Materials: 2 Ballpen and Paper
Rules:
- Scouts can apply any method of passing the message.
- Only scout number (8) will submit the written message to the field recorder in a
sheet of paper.
- Each misspelled word automatically add TEN (10) counts/seconds.
Rules:
- All Illustration boards must be checked by the event incharge
- Each scout shall write legibly the scout law on a piece of illustration board according
to its item number
4. KNOT TYING
Incharge: Sctr. Jayson B. Juen
Participants: Eight (8) Scouts
Two (2) Scouts assigned to hold the pole
Materials: Nine (9) abaca ropes with tag of different type of knots (2x3 inches,
plywood)
One (1) Pole
5. WIGWAG SIGNALLING
Incharge : Vincent Christopher De Asis
Participants: Four (4) Scouts
Materials: Wigwag Pole (5 feet, height)
Wigwag Flag (any size)
Ballpen and Paper
Rules:
- Prepared message will be given by the field judge.
- The contestants will be posted at specific distance.
- At the signal “GO” senders will immediately transmit the message as fast as he
could do to the receiver.
- After receiving the entire transmitted message the RECIEVER immediately run or
approach the field recorder, render hand salute and present his/her received
message.
- Each misspelled word automatically add THREE (10) counts/seconds.
8. FLAGPOLE RAISING
Incharge: Sctr. Elpedio Delina
Participants: Eight (8) Scouts
Materials:
Knots to be used:
Clove Hitch to start and round lash with wooden insert, with no less
than 10 proppings for joining the poles and end the lashing with clove
hitch. Tautline hitch for tying the peg and timber hitch for guy lines
Rules:
- Materials are filed at a distance.
- At signal “GO” the contestants will run to designated place where the materials are
being placed and start constructing the flagpole.
- After the poles are assembled to form a flagpole, the contestants shall raise or hoist
the flag and execute hand salute facing the field recorder/judge.
- The most straight pole (allowable: 12 o’clock, 1 o’clock and 11 o’clock) no error and
finished limited time wins.
- The most straight pole (allowable: 12 o’clock, 1 o’clock and 11 o’clock) less error and
finished limited time wins.
- Entry that does not meet the straight pole gets lowest score of 5 pts.
- Dismantled flagpole gets 5points.
9. CHARIOT RACE

Knots to be used: Diagonal and square lashing is the knots to be used in the
construction of chariot.
Timber Hitch use to tie the handle
Rules:
- Materials are filed at a distance.
At signal “GO” the contestants will run to designated place where the materials are
being placed and start constructing the chariot.
- After the chariot is being assembled in a designated area, the rider will ride the
chariot without the patrol flag.
- Two (2) members will hold both side of the chariot
- The rest of the members will be inside the RENDA dragging towards the finishing
line
- Dismantled due to faulty tying, members running outside the RENDA will earn 5
points automatically
- Only the rider will get the patrol flag.
Rules:
- The participants for inspection must wear their complete Type “A” uniform
- Participating contingents are allowed to use all available materials for camp building
such as wood, bamboo, steel bars and others.
- Result for camp lay out and inspection is not included in the final tabulation
Judging:
- Judges will determine the following for specials awards.
o Most Clean Camp
o Best In Physical Arrangement
o Best in Camp’s Gate
o Best In Display Area
F. LARO NG LAHI

Participants: One (1) Patrol per event
Rules:
Laro ng lahi is a friendship game only
Each contingent must prepare their own materials except for sack race
Result for Laro Ng Lahi is not included in the final tabulation
