MOST RESPECTFULLY SHOWETH:

1. That the complainant has filed the present frivolous complaint under Section
138 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 read with Section 420 of IPC against
the applicant/accused.
2. That the Applicant/Accused is filling this present application for exemption
from personal appearance for today i.e. on 07.06.2023.
3. That the Accused Mr. Swapan Roy is a senior citizen and is suffering from cold
and fever and due to this he will not be able to appear before this Hon’ble court
for today.
4. That the absence of the accused in neither intentional nor deliberate but due to
above said reason.
5. That the present application has been filed in the interest of justice.
PRAYER
It is, therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased
to exempt applicant/accused from appearing on the present date of hearing i.e.
07.06.2023 in the present complaint.
