The House on Tuesday voted 216 to 210 to remove California Republican Kevin McCarthy, from his position as House

speaker. The
ouster came after Republican Representative Matt Gaetz acted Monday night to force a vote on a motion to invite Kevin
McCarthy, whom he had previously threatened to remove from office. While other speakers had already resigned after losing their
party, Kevin McCarthy is the first to be dismissed, especially in the middle of a parliamentary mandate.

So the question is : Who could replace Kevin McCarthy as the next speaker of the House?

According to the rules of the 118th Congress, in the event of a vacancy in the office of speaker, the first member appointed
from a list submitted by Mr. McCarthy to the Clerk of the House in january becomes speaker pro tempore until a speaker is
elected, and this "speaker pro" would be Patrick McHenry-

By Wednesday, several names had emerged as possible successors to McCarthy, including Majority Leader Steve Scalise,
Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio and Rep. Kevin Hern of Oklahoma.

But How long could it take to elect a new speaker?

It's unclear how soon after McCarthy's ouster the Republican majority will begin the process for electing a successor In
January, it took 15 rounds of voting across four days for McCarthy to secure the support he needed to win the gavel.

According to our source mccarthy was ousted because of long-standing conflicts and tensions between ideological factions
and other element womble bond dickinson said, "The trigger for the movement to impeach the president was the passage of
a stopgap funding measure, called Continuing Resolution (CR), which avoided a 45-day government shutdown, as well as an
alleged side deal with the administration to provide funds to Ukraine."

Donald Trump tweeted about this. He said and I quote " so interesting to watch crooked Joe Biden break every
environmental law in the book to prove that I was right." he also said " I will await his apology"

Some sources claim that the president of Mexico stated his displeasure with how the United States handled the border crisis
and that the United States sanctions on Latino American countries are to blame and that the only solution is to lift those
sanctions. Although we unfortunately are not 100% sure of these sources.

On the other hand, environmentalists are angry, and they're saying that the building of this wall will cut through the habitats
of plants and animals.
