Our destiny is not written for us but by us. A famous quote by Former US President Barrack Obama.

It is
supported by another quote “Destiny is not a matter of chance, but of choice. Not something to wish
for, but to attain.” — William Jennings Bryan. "If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more,
do more and become more, you are a leader." -- John Quincy Adams. In today’s installation of a new
breed of leader, these quotes definitely dilineate the kind of leader that she is. Our honoree this
morning has a mission and vision for this community. Her kind of leadership truly inspires everyone with
the help and cooperation of the community; she was able to establish a learning institution that would
bring big impact of the lives of their young children and the future generations. My morning greetings to
everyone most especially to the Brgy. Officials headed by very supportive Brgy. Captain, Hon. Dionesio
Magaipo. Likewise to our always blooming and brilliant District Supervisor, Dr. Glenn Dale D. Escasinas,
school managers from different schools, fellow teachers, visitors, ladies and gentlemen, good morning!
It is my privilege and honor to introduce to you our honoree. She is a native of this community. She has
been in the DepEd for ___now. She rendered her first day of service at Talisayan Primary School and
later transferred to Buli ES. With her love and dedication for her fellow Sto.Ninohanons, she initiated
the move to apply for establishment of Sto. Nino ES, with the permission of the District Head, support
from Brgy and Local Government and the community, the dream of STO. NINO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL,
has become a reality, in fact last SY 2020-2021 marked the official beginning of its operation as a newly-
opened school in Bato East District, Leyte Division. We, Buli ES, adopted Sto Nino while waiting for its
teachers. We have been a part of its fresh start. I personally witnessed how supportive the parents and
the community are during distribution and retrieval of modules .This is all because of her leadership as
OIC of Sto. Nino ES. Truly she deserved to be the leader, to be the full time manager of this learning
institution. Ladies and gentlemen, without making it too long, it is my pride and honor to present to you
our honoree, the new TIC of Sto. Nino ES- Mrs. Emma Tahop Tam-is….
Good leaders are made not born. If you have the desire and willpower, you can become an effective
leader. My respect to our Brgy. Captain, Hon. Dionesio Magaipo together with his councilmen, likewise
my high respect to our gorgeous, dynamic and sophisticated District Supervisor, Dr. Glenn Dale D.

one and all.

Today we are having this activity to give honor to someone whose leadership is accompanied with a
strong commitment and desire to serve the community. This is what we called love for others. Without
her love to serve, this school, Sto. Nino Elementary School, perhaps does not exist, will not exist;
because it takes dedication and commitment to make all the necessary documents to accomplish, it
takes patience to take a long-hour travel to submit the requirements in the division and in the regional
office and it takes courage to face high-ranked officials to solicit help and to answer questions and be
interviewed. All these things were possible because of her. That’s why we are here to conduct
installation ceremony.

To formally start this ceremony, may I request everybody to rise for the prayer to be led to us by
Debbie-Jane Quervo followed by the singing of national anthem to be conducted by Irish Q. Ruiz.

(adlib like you may now take your seats)

To give some words of welcome, may I call in our very supportive Brgy. Captain-Hon. Dionesio U.
Magaipo.

The Master Teacher I of Buli ES will introduce to us the honoree of this event. Let’s give a big hand to
Tracy Serdan Sarsale.

Now the highlight of today’s activity-the installation ceremony and message which will be done by no
other than Dr. Glenn Dale D. Escasinas-District Supervisor.

At this point of time, may we hear a message from our very own generous, supportive, and active
Municipal Mayor-Hon. Nathaniel B. Gertos.

As a response, let us put our hands together as we welcome Emma T. Tam-is for her message.

Head Teacher II of Buli ES-Danilo L. Gitanes will give his concluding message. Let’s give him a round of
applause.

Maam Emma as you begin your new journey, may you continue to be a burning flame that fires every
heart of the people in our community to serve, cooperate and support. Let me end by sharing this quote
by the Former US President Barrack Obama “When we succeed, we succeed because of our individual
initiative, but also because we do things together.”

This is Ammie Guston Cuadra, your toastmaster, saying thank you for coming and have a good day!
