BRIGADA PAGBASA CULMINATING

ACTIVITY

A blessed, wonderful and happy morning to


one and all!

In celebration of the National Literacy Month


last September and in preparation for this
month’s National Reading Month, World
Vision Development Foundation in
Partnership with the Department of
Education (DepEd) launched the Bigada
Pagbasa, a movement that seeks to enhance
the reading skills of the Filipino children. This
project is an extension of the Brigada Eskwela
campaign that promotes community
participation in time for school opening; I
welcome you to our Brigada Pagbasa
Culminating Activity.

To our ever gorgeous and stunning school


Principal, Nanette C. Basto, to our pro-active
barangay Captain, Hon. Mercy D. Rada. Our,
Chairman, Comm. On Education, Kgd. Dannie
Tenoso. To our diligent Gen. PTA president,
Miss Angie Gutas. To our devoted School
Brigada Pagbasa Coordinator Maam Leilani
Arnante, fellow teachers, parents, pupils,
guests, ladies and gentlemen and great day to
each and every one, let’s start our program
and happiness throughout the day!

1. As we begin our activity, Let us all rise


for the singing of the Philippine
National Anthem to be conducted by
Maribelle V. Santos, T1.
2. Please remain standing. For us to be
guided with our today’s endeavor, let us
start the day with a prayer to be led by
Cyril B. Llabres, T1.
3. To give her opening remarks, our dear
Gen. PTA President, a very dedicated
parent, Miss Angie G. Gutas
4. To warmly welcome all the participants
for today’s activity, may I call on the
witty and beauteous MT-2 of Tapayass
E/S, Ma’am Cecilia B. Barra for her
welcome message.
5. At this juncture, let us go on with the
awarding of certificates to brigada
pagbasa volunteers, to be awarded by
our school principal, maam Nanette
Basto and our brigada pagbasa
coordinator, Maam Leilani Arnante.
6. Please join me, ladies and gentlemen to
welcome and lend our ears as our very
dear gorgeous, superb, smart and sexy
Principal, Nanette C. Basto as she share
her message to us.
7. Now, to inspire us, let us now give the
stage to the Chairman, Comm on
Education, in a person of hardworking,
generous and humble Kgd. Dannie
Tenoso.
8. We come now to the awarding of
certificates to the Donors during the
Brigada Pagbasa Program. May I ask our
Brgy Captain and our School Principal
to award these certificates, and Brigada
Pagbasa coordinator as well.
9. And of course, here’s also with us and
partake her message, the Pro-active
chairmain of Barangay Tapayas, our
barangay Captain, Hon. Mercy D. Rada.
10. At this point, let us now go with
the awarding of Plaque of Appreciation
to the Brigada Pagbasa Coordinator. To
do the honour may I call on the
chairman, comm on education and our
school principal.
11. To do and share the words of
gratitude, may I call on Maam Leilani L.
Arnante, School Brigada Pagbasa
Coordinator.

me leave this quote to ponder for
today’s activity. “READING SHOULD

Let us break the monotony for a while, let us all witness the
amazing performance of one of the talented teacher of our
school, live on stage at the moment, Idol Philippines right
