SURVEY REPORT

To: John Smith, principal of Oxford College

From: Jane Brown, representative of the Students Council
Aim: to apply a survey regarding the utility of a coffee-machine in our
high-school.

Purpose
The aim of this report is to analyse the results of a survey in which 600
students, from 9th to 12th grades, from our high-school, were interviewed
about the utility of a coffee-machine in our institution.

Findings
A significant percentage, 60%, of the interviewed students agreed with
the idea of having such a machine, even two or three of this type,
because they really need an energizing drink during the breaks. Some of
them (20%) claimed that this decision will prevent certain students from
going to buy coffees outside the school.
The rest of 40% strongly opposed to this suggestion, underlying the fact
that all the drinks from such a coffee-machine contain unhealthy
ingredients. Moreover, the companies which supply these devices do not
always take care of their cleanliness.

Conclusion
All points considered, it is obvious that the majority of those who
responded enjoy the idea of bringing coffee-machines in our high-
school, with the exception of the gymnasium wing.
