INTRODUCTION

1.1 Overview of the Current state of technology

In an era of rapid technological advancement healthcare management and access to

personal health information are involved to meet the needs of both healthcare providers and
patients The physical health information system is an innovative project aimed at revolutionizing
the way individuals manage and interact with their physical health data. It helps every individual
to monitor our own physical health. It’s only fitting that healthcare, one of the most critical
domains, embraces technology to enhance the well-being of individual. The physical health
information system is envisioned as a comprehensive solution designed to streamline the
collection, storage, analysis, and accessibility of an individual’s physical health information this
system will serve as a centralized hub, bringing together data from various sources such as
medical records wearable devices, fitness, apps, and users input.

1.2 Project Rationale

The need for a physical health information system arises from the growing complexity of
healthcare data and the desire for individuals to take an active role in managing their health. The
system will empower users with tools to track their fitness progress, monitor chrome condition,
and make informed decisions about their well-being it will also facilitate seamless communication
with healthcare providers, improving the overall quality of care.

This project proposal is to design and implement a Personal Physical Health

Information System tailored specifically for first-year students pursuing a Bachelor of
Science in Information Technology (BSIT), this system aims to improve the overall
health and well-being of these students by providing their Physical Health

improvements in their physical health, leading to enhanced overall well-being.

This proposed research project addresses the specific health needs and challenges
faced by first-year BSIT students, offering a holistic solution that combines technology,
data analysis, and personal motivation to enhance their physical well-being…

The objectives of this proposal are as follows:

 Efficient Data Management

To provide a Centralized and Efficient platform for collecting, storing, and

managing Physical Health-related data, including medical records, diagnostic result,
treatment plans, vital sign, and physical diet.

 Enhance Patient Care

To improve the quality of patient care by ensuring that healthcare providers have quick
and easy access to accurate and up-to-date patient information

 Error Reduction

To minimize errors in healthcare by reducing manual data entry, duplication of tests,

and other administrative mistake through automated data capture and validation

 Patient Engagement

To empower the patient by offering secure access to their own health records, enabling
them to actively participate in their healthcare decision and track their progress.

2.2.2 Scope and Limitation

User- Scope and delimitation for this “Personal physical health information system
among first-year students BSIT

Scope of occidental Mindoro State College Mamburao campus “

Target Population- the study focuses on first-year students enrolled in the Bachelor of
Science in Information (BSIT) program at Occidental Mindoro State College
Mamburao campus.

Date Collection- the study will collect personal physical health information from
selected first year BSIT students, including data related to their overall health, physical
activity, dietary habits and any existing medical condition.

Information System Design- the project proposal will involve the development and
implementation of a personal physical health information system specially tailored to
the needs of the first year BSIT students at the mention college.

Data Privacy- The study will address issues related to data privacy and security to
ensure that the collected health information remains confidential and complies with
relevant regulations and ethical considerations.

Delimitation

Limited to First-Year BSIT Students-The study is restricted to first-year students in the

BSIT program at Occidental Mindoro State College, Mamburao, and does not include
students from other academic years or programs.

Geographical limitation- The project proposal is confined to the Mamburao campus of

Occidental Mindoro State College and does not encompass other campuses or
intuitions.

Health Information Parameters-The study primary collects personal physical health

information and may not include in-depth medical or psychological data. It does not
cover aspects of mental health or others specialized medical condition in detail.

Time Constrains- The study’s data collecting and analysis are limited to a specific
timeframe, and it may not account for long term health changes, beyond the study
period.

Limited Data Sharing- the persona physical health information collected will be used
exclusively for the development of the information system and may not share with
external parties or used for purposes beyond the scope of the project proposal.

Ethical Consideration- Ethical guidelines and consent procedures will be followed, and
the study will no collect sensitive or invasive health data without the participant’s
informed consent.

These scope and delimitation statement help defined the boundaries and objectives of
