A. Expense Capture
Use this sheet to enter Dates, Expenses (Main and Sub - Categories), Description and Amount.
No Need to put details in the "Month" and "Day" Field. This will auto populate once you add a date.
Use the slices to show details per month.
The Total Expense Amount that is shown is based on what is filtered. If nothing is filtered, then it will show the

B. Dashoboard
Shows a summary of the expenses you have entered.
The summary shows Expenses Incurred per sub-category and per month.
Use the slicers to control what you want to show
Refresh the Pivot whenever new data is added. To refresh

1. Click on the pivot tables, go to Analyze Tab.

2. Click Refresh.
3. Then Refrsh All.

C. Categories
Main Category Table - This is where you can add main categories.
When adding new categories, you should also adde a new table for its sub-category.
The New Table should be renamed to its corresponding Main Category. Its Header should also have the same a
