your time on this course.
If at any point you feel as though you are struggling to understand any of the tasks or
explanations, simply ask your tutor who will be more than happy to assist you.

You are now going to create a couple of presentations. The first is going to be a ‘Practice Presentation’.
The second is going to be a ‘Professional Presentation’. The idea is that that you will use the tips and
techniques learned in the practise presentation and apply these to your professional presentation.

Follow the instructions .on pages 55 to 58 of your user reference manual. to complete tasks 5.1 and 5.2 below.

Creating your practise presentation will require a subject. Consider using a hobby or an interest as
your presentation subject – if you are struggling for ideas, try asking you tutor! Your practise
presentation will require the following criteria:

A minimum of three slides

Now that you’ve had some practice building a practise presentation you can go ahead and create a
professional presentation using the instructions on pages .55 to 58 of your user reference manual..

You are going to create a presentation demonstrating why you are the best fit for a fictional job of
your choice. Your presentation will need to consist of the following criteria:

A minimum of four slides Transitions and animations


A theme/engaging visual style A minimum of one picture

Your presentation will also need to include following structure/questions:

Slide 1: Your name and presentation subject


Slide 2: “What Makes Me a Good Employee?”
Slide 3: “What Skills and Qualities Can I Bring to Your Organisation?”
Slide 4: “Where Do I See Myself in Five Years’ Time?

Once you have completed your presentations get your tutor to double check it and proceed to the
next task.
