1. Introduction

The promotion of public awareness and youth engagement is

essential for the successful implementation of climate action and the
attainment of desired outcomes. As the Sustainability team, we aim to
disseminate knowledge about climate and sustainability, foster
advocacy for environmentally-friendly initiatives, and mobilize all
individuals to actively participate in the promotion of a carbon-neutral
and sustainable Yonsei campus. Since social media is a powerful
tool, we will work on posting contents on YSCAN’s social media
platforms during this spring semester.

2. Categories of Posts

The below are some tips that should be considered for information
and knowledge sharing posts for the public.

Clarity : The language should be simple, clear and easy to

understand for the general public
Relevance : Contents should be relevant to current climate concerns.
Actionable : It would be better to include actionable steps in some
posts.
Accuracy : Information included should be factual.
Credibility : Credible sources, such as recognized journals,
government websites, academic institutions or reliable websites are
recommended to use.

There will be four categories of posts and contents for this semester.
2.1 Sustainable Development Goals

In order to be compatible with this semester’s sustainability projects

theme, which is Greener Yonsei for A Better Future, we will create
contents with topics about SDGs. The selected SDGs related to
environment, climate change and ecosystem are as follows.

SDG 11 Sustainable Cities and Communities

SDG 13 Climate Action

SDG 14 Life Below Water

SDG 15 Life on Land

2.2 Environmental Awareness Days of the year

For the sake of raising awareness, promoting change and creating a

sense of urgency, contents about environmental awareness days
would be powerful enough to inspire individuals and communities.

In order to ensure transparency and credibility, credits, resources,

if possible.
