Instructions:
Use the following tips to create your own story. Remember to include all the elements
of a story such as plot, characters, setting, problem, and solution. Be creative and
have fun!

Tips for Creative Writing:


1. Choose a theme: Think about what you want your story to be about. It could be
an adventure, a mystery, or even a fantasy tale!
2. Create your characters: Develop interesting and unique characters for your story.
Think about their appearance, personality, and motivation.
3. Set the stage: Describe the setting of your story. Where does it take place? Is it in
a city, a forest, or a magical land?
4. Build the plot: Plan the events of your story in sequential order. What happens at
the beginning, middle, and end?
5. Introduce the problem: Think about the conflict or problem that your characters
will face. How will they overcome it?
6. Resolve the problem: Come up with a solution to the problem. How does the
story end?
7. Add details: Use descriptive language to bring your story to life. Include sensory
details, dialogue, and emotions.
8. Revise and edit: Once you have finished writing, read through your story again.
Make sure everything makes sense and fix any mistakes.
9. Share your story: Finally, share your story with your classmates or friends. They
might enjoy reading it!
