1. Which of the 11-point Agenda relates to launching and operation of BatStateu KIST Park?
Expound your answer. (at least ten minimum sentences)

The launch of KIST Park in our university will boost not only our university itself but the
nation under this wide program, our country. With high technologies and five-star facilities, this
will affect the economic growth of our country in such a way that many aspiring students will
conduct more relevant studies and will be able to discover new inventions that will surely
contribute to our society. There are five related agendas in launching and operating the Bat
Stateu KIST Park: Agendas 1, 3, 4, 6, and 7. Agenda 1 states that the latest advancements in
research and development are geared towards the shared goal of improved nutrition and health
for all. In KIST Park, they are looking forward for more advanced technologies that will help
the researchers to perform well in their field. In Agenda 3, R&D is engaged in emerging
scientific and technological platforms that lay the inroads to the development of new products,
services, and industries. I think that they consider this agenda the most important since the main
purpose of this project is to empower our capabilities in conducting and creating new ideas.
Agenda 4 focuses on strengthening institutional capacity to undertake research and development
and contribute to regional development. In this project, we will improve not only regionally but
also become globally competitive. In Agenda 6, it aims to build a critical mass of competitive
researchers, scientists, and engineers (RSEs) and promote a culture of STI. Towards this goal,
the department continues to provide scholarship programs to scale up the number of RSEs.
Agenda 7 features various S&T facilities that offer technical services for carrying out research
and development, as well as addressing the needs of the industry in terms of quality assurance,
adherence to standards, product development, and innovation. In these two agendas, they are
related to one another since their purpose is to produce globally competitive researchers and also
discover new ideas. This project can be considered one of the most helpful and amazing ideas
being proposed.

2. In your opinion, explain how KIST PARK will affects the societal aspiration and expectation
for the students who will be in this field. Expound you answer.

Since this project will launch at Batangas State University, The National Engineering
University, the standard of our campus will also become higher and will surely lead to providing
more talented and competitive students. Since the technology and facility are advanced, the
researchers can do more advance researches that will help our country when it come to invention
and innovation. It can also encourage the upcoming students to study in our university because of
the high-quality education that we offer. This will be our advantage since we are the one who can
access it immediately. This will provide the facility and the advance equipment needed for
research. It will benefit the society since we rely on it. KISS Park is really a big part of us since
we rely on technologies, and this project will develop our technology in many aspects. But on the
other side, the launch of this project will put more pressure on them since the expectation was
there. They are expected to be more skilled than they are, but I believe that this pressure will
become their motivation to continue to provide for our society. Despite this situation, it is still an
advantage and a gift that we can treasure forever.
