Internet slang: bad or not?

Technology is constantly evolving. Online communication is becoming more

popular, especially for young people. It has its advantages and
disadvantages, but aren't there more disadvantages?

Some people use this slang very often to make chatting easier. It helps them
write easily and quickly, saves them time and effort. They even think that it is
easier to get along with their friends and it is strange for them to write
competently and understandably than to write in this way. For example, in
Bulgaria we have abbreviations of some sentences and most often teenagers
use them in their chats with friends.

However, there are some negative aspects to these changes. These

developments began to affect spelling and the population in Bulgaria began to
lose its high level of literacy. People become less intelligent and begin to
forget the correct spelling of words. This way, the language does not begin to
be lost and little by little the Bulgarian language will begin to be replaced by
such slang expressions.

To sum up, whether you think these are good or bad changes, there is no way
to clear them out of our language. The only thing we can do is reduce their
use little by little or just start getting used to them.
