LESSON 01. PRONUNCIATION

I. THEORY
1. Quy tắc phát âm tiếng Anh chuẩn IPA
IPA là viết tắt của từ International Phonetic Alphabet – bảng mẫu từ ngữ âm quốc
tế hay bảng ký hiệu ngữ âm quốc tế. IPA gồm 44 âm, nguyên âm ở trên, phụ âm ở dưới.
Nguyên âm sẽ gồm 20 âm chia thành 2 phần là: nguyên âm đơn ở bên phải và nguyên âm
đôi ở bên trái.

Usage - thói quen hoặc những việc thường - việc đang xảy ra tại thời điểm nói.

Present perfect simple Present perfect continuous


Usage - việc đã bắt đầu từ quá khứ, kéo dài - việc đã bắt đầu từ quá khứ, kéo dài
đến hiện tại và tiếp tục trong hiện tại
- việc đã xảy ra ở quá khứ nhưng kết - việc mới kết thúc ngay trước thời

NOTES: STATIVE VERBS – Động từ chỉ trạng thái


Động từ chỉ trạng thái (Stative verbs) là những động từ không thường chia ở
thì tiếp diễn bởi chúng mô tả 1 trạng thái hơn là 1 hành động

Động từ chỉ thích/ like, love, hate, dislike, enjoy, prefer, fancy, mind, …
không thích => Cathy likes romantic films.
Động từ chỉ nhận thức believe, know, notice, remember, forget, wish, understand,
realise, wonder, think, (dis)agree, doubt, guess, hope,
suppose.
=> I don’t believe a word he’s saying
Động từ chỉ giác quan see, hear, taste, look, smell, sound, touch, feel, seem
=> The soup tastes delicious.
Một số động từ khác be, have (= possess), want, need, include, belong (to), weigh,
cost, owe, fit, mean, own, measure, matter, need, contain,
lack, appear, deserve.
=> This book is mine. It belongs to me.

1 số động từ trạng thái vẫn có dạng tiếp diễn, nhưng có sự KHÁC BIỆT VỀ NGHĨA
