1 Rockfall Barrier System - Maccaferri Rockfall Barrier - 30m length 4m height

1.1 1500 kJ Rockfall Barrier
Supply and install Falling Rock Protection Kit with kinetic energy of 1,500 kJ, 4m
height certified by EOTA (European Technical Assessment) according to EAD
340089-00-0106. The barrier shall ensure minimum levels of performance viz.
resulting residual height not lower than 65% of the nominal height after MEL,
<5.8m maximum elongation after MEL test for the assembled kit.

1.2 Upslope / Lateral Anchor

Drill 6m long in soil for upslope/lateral anchors, 100mm Ø hole, and install double
spiral cable anchor and holes to be grouted with grade 25 as specified in the
drawing.

1.3 Micropile
Drill and install 150mm Ø micropiles inclusive of reinforcement bar 32mm Ø and
grout grade 25, 6m long as specified in the drawing.

1.3 Pile Cap

Supply and construct pile cap/RC plinth (600mmx600mmx600mm (Piles cap)
Grade 40/20 inclusive of reinforcement bar and all necessary item to construct pile
caps.

height certified by EOTA (European Technical Assessment) according to EAD
340089-00-0106. The barrier shall ensure minimum levels of performance viz.
resulting residual height not lower than 50% of the nominal height after MEL,
<8.25m maximum elongation after MEL test for the assembled kit.

1.2 Upslope / Lateral Anchor

Drill 8m long in soil for upslope/lateral anchors, 100mm Ø hole, and install
double spiral cable anchor and holes to be grouted with grade 25 as specified in
the drawing.

1.3 Downslope Anchor

Drill 3m long in soil for downslope anchors, 100mm Ø hole, and install double
spiral cable anchor and holes to be grouted with grade 25 as specified in the
drawing.
