Instructions to change default program for opening a TIF file

3. *Click on “Programs”
1. Click on “Start” 2. Select “Control
Panel”

*NOTE: If you don’t see a Programs icon, click on “Default

Programs” and continue to #5 below.

4. *Click on “Default Programs”

6. Click on “Change
program”

5. Scroll down to “TIF”

name and click on it to
highlight

7. Click on the program you want to use to open the

file (such as Adobe Reader)

8. If you don’t see the program you want to use, click

“Browse” to locate it

9. Check the box to always use the selected program

to open this kind of file and then click “OK” and then
click on “Close” in the next window that opens
