The IR 4.0 technology that I chose is cloud computing.

Cloud computing is on-demand

access, via the internet, to computing resources hosted at a remote data center managed by a
cloud services provider (CSP).

The CSP, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, makes
these resources available for a monthly subscription fee or bills them according to usage. The
key concepts of cloud computing include:

1. On-Demand Self-Service: Users can provision and manage resources as needed, without
human intervention from the service provider.

2. Scalability: Cloud resources can be easily scaled up or down to accommodate changing

workloads, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.

3. Resource Pooling: Multiple users share resources in a multi-tenant model, with each
user's data and applications isolated from others.

4. Broad Network Access: Cloud services are accessible over the internet from a variety of
devices and locations.

5. Measured Service: Usage is metered, and users are billed based on their actual
consumption.

However, challenges like security, data privacy, and vendor lock-in must be carefully
considered. Overall, cloud computing has become an essential enabler of digital
transformation and business competitiveness in the modern era.
