BROMO MOUNTAIN

Bromo Mountain is one of the favorite tourist destinations in East Java. Not only domestic
tourists, but also foreign tourists are competing to come here. They came to watch the beautiful sunrise
from Bromo.

Bromo is known as one of the main tourist attractions in East Java. This place is located in Bromo
Tengger Semeru National Park, east of Malang city. The beauty of this mountain has attracted many
visitors from various countries in the world. Watching the sun rise is an interesting event. The visitors
are willing to wait starting at 05.00 so they don’t miss this special moment. When the sky is clear, you
can see the ball of the sun. First, the sun looks like a match, slowly zooming in until it becomes a full
circle and brightening. It is delightful scenery.

Bromo Mountain is located on the border of Malang and Probolinggo, East Java. This mountain
is one of the high mountains. It is 2,392 meters high above sea level. This mountain has several districts,
namely Malang, Pasuruan, Probolinggo, and Lumajang. The sea of sand in these mountains is about 10
m2. This makes the scenery so amazing that many local and foreign tourists travel on purpose to enjoy
this natural beauty. The history of Bromo Mountain is very long, perhaps linked in simple graffiti. But in
short, the name Bromo comes from Sanskrit which means Brahma (one of the Hindu gods), because the
majority of Indonesians at that time were Hindus. Mount Bromo has erupted dozens of times.

Here the temperature reaches 10 degrees to 0 degrees Celsius even in the morning. So, visitors
have to prepare cool clothes, beanie hats, gloves, socks, scarves to handle it. But if visitors forget about
the equipment there are many vendors offering items in the form of hats, gloves, or scarves.
