GENERAL SUMMARY
Paradigm Window Solutions is seeking an experienced Product Configuration Specialist
to join our team.

The Product Configuration Specialist will be responsible for designing and maintaining
accurate window & door configurations and bill of material (BOM) structures, defining
product models and configurations, and developing tools and processes to minimize
configuration complexity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Using product design information, create product models, configurations and (BOM) within the
Paradigm ERP systems. We configure in two systems: the WTS Paradigm CenterPoint (Optic)
order entry system and the Winsys Shop Floor system.
 Troubleshoot business issues with orders or production that may have configuration issues as
their root cause.
 Determine most effective approach to resolving issues.
 Provide technical data/information to peers and users.
 Interface with internal customers in terms of configurator capabilities
 Interface with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather and transform business
requirements into functional design specifications.

 Develop a strong business process understanding to generate sound business recommendations.

 Cross-train on PC Technician tasks and serve as back up for this function when needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 3+ years experience working with structured BOMs in a complex configured product
manufacturing environment. This absolutely essential.
 Enjoy working with data, including experience troubleshooting how data is extracted,
transformed and loaded into ERP systems.
 Strong technical aptitude.

 Ability to read and comprehend engineering drawings, parts lists, bills of material, and
rule based logic. Knowledge of standard Engineering drawing practices.
 Experience with Office, MS Teams, Webex, Smartsheets and/or Google Docs.

 Knowledge of SQL databases a plus.

 Knowledge of window/door products a major plus.
 Experienced in Agile development a plus.
 Able to communication exceptionally well at all levels of the organization.
 Must have the highest integrity and work ethic and be persistent and results-driven
 Equally comfortable working as an individual contributor and team collaborator.
