QUIZ F1

1. What is quality control, and how does it differ from quality assurance and
quality improvement?
Ans. Quality assurance relates to how a process is carried out or how a
product is made, quality control is more the inspection aspect of quality
management and is defined as part of quality management focused on fulfilling
quality requirements.

2. What are the main goals of quality control, and how can they be achieved?
Ans. A company may assess, maintain, and enhance product quality through
this method. To guarantee that goods are as uniform as possible and to reduce
mistakes and inconsistencies within them are the two main objectives of quality
control.

3. What is the Juran Trilogy, and how does it relate to quality control, quality
control, quality assurance, and quality improvement?
Ans. Dr. Joseph M. Juran introduced the Juran Trilogy, commonly known as
the Quality Trilogy, as a way to manage for quality in 1986. The Trilogy has evolved
into the foundation for the majority of quality management best practices
worldwide. At the time, the conventional approach to quality was centered on
quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement. The Juran Trilogy is
essentially a way of thinking about quality that applies to all levels, functions, and
product and service lines. The core idea is that there are three universal activities
that make up management for quality. Quality Planning Quality by Design, Quality
Control Process Control & Regulatory, and Quality Assurance.

4. How can quality assurance help organizations ensure that their products or
services meet or exceed costumer expectations?
Ans. Organizations are under pressure to offer goods and services that go
above and beyond what customers anticipate in today's dynamic and fiercely
competitive business climate. It is impossible to overstate the significance of quality
assurance since it is essential to ensuring that organizations can satisfy these needs
and prosper. In order to address the fundamental quality assurance may also be
thought of as the tools, techniques, and procedures used to guarantee quality
throughout the development cycle. In the meanwhile, quality control is concerned
with testing outcomes to make sure they adhere to the standards established by
quality assurance.

5. What is the difference between quality and quality improvement, and how can
organizations use both approaches to enhance their products or services?
Ans. A organized method for assessing the effectiveness of systems and
processes and identifying areas that require improvement on both a functional and
operational level is known as quality improvement. Quality control is crucial to
maintain the brand's reputation, stop items from being unreliable, and boost
consumer confidence. In order to make sure that the services and goods meet the
standards, it makes sure the firm considers evidence based data and research rather
than anecdotal impressions. Organizations that follow several processes can more
simply and progressively enhance their overall system by examining and enhancing
one process at a time while applying the Pareto principle.
