Concept, Goal and Implementation of Quality control, Quality assurance and Quality improvement.

Concept of Quality control

A company's efforts to maintain or raise product
quality are achieved through the quality control (QC)
process. The establishment of a culture of perfection
among management and staff is necessary for quality
control.
Goal and Implementation of Quality control
The QC is to make products as uniform as possible
and to eliminate errors and differences within them. Its goal
of implementation is to guarantee that the same
information, techniques, abilities, and controls are
employed consistently each time a process is carried out. In
the end, this promotes customer pleasure.
Concept of Quality assurance
All of the planned and systematic actions carried out
inside the quality system which have been proven to
provide consumer trust that a product or service will meet
quality standards are generally referred to as quality
assurance.
Goal and Implementation of Quality Assurance
To avoid problems during the lifecycle of a product's
creation. Moreover, quality assurance aims to enhance the
development and testing processes. It is implemented to
establishing rules and guidelines, creating job descriptions,
and assembling a competent staff to carry out duties.
Concept of Quality improvement
The strategy for systematically enhancing the
standard of care is quality improvement. Furthermore, it
eliminate inconsistency, create predictable outcomes, and
enhance outcomes for patients, healthcare systems, and
companies.
Goal and Implementation of Quality improvement
To reduce variation, generate predictable outcomes,
and improve patient, healthcare system, and organizational
outcomes, standardize processes and structure. Its
implementation is the process of developing, testing, and
implementing effective changes.
JURAN TRILOGY
The Juran Trilogy, also called Quality Trilogy, was
presented by Dr. Joseph M. Juran in 1986 as a means to
manage for quality. The traditional approach to quality at that
time was based on quality control, but today, the Trilogy has
become the basis for most quality management best practices
around the world.
In essence, the Juran Trilogy is a universal way of
thinking about quality it fits all functions, all levels,
and all product and service lines. The underlying
concept is that managing for quality consists of three
universal processes:
• Quality Planning (Quality by Design)
• Quality Control (Process Control & Regulatory)
• Quality Improvement (Lean Six Sigma)
Quality Planning (Quality by Design)
The design process enables innovation to happen by designing
products (goods, services, or information) together with the processes
including controls to produce the final outputs.
Quality Control (Process Control & Regulatory)
Today, the term quality control often means quality control and
compliance. The goal is to comply with international standards or
regulatory authorities such as ISO 9000.
Quality Improvement (Lean Six Sigma)
Improvement is an activity in which every organization carries
out tasks to make incremental improvements, day after day.
