Dear Editor,

I am writing to submit our original research article entitled Intimate Relationship and Technological
Effect on Youth in Socio-cultural Attachment of Bangladesh for your kind consideration.

We confirm that this work is original and has not been published elsewhere, nor is it currently under
consideration for publication elsewhere.

In this study we tried to explore the technological effect on youth with the gradual transformation of
intimate relationships from pre-modern to post-modern societies. The study was qualitative in
nature in which multiple case studies were employed. The study found that the influence of
technology is gradually being increased in the pattern of intimate relationships among the youths.
Technology has a great influence on the system of intimate relationships such as mariage, divorce,
premarital and extramarital relationships. The easy access to the internet and the excessive use of
social media affects the pattern of intimacy among the youths in the post-modern era. The study
also found that young people are now involved in premarital and extramarital relationships by using
internet-based technology which is one of the responsible factors for increasing domestic violence
and divorce rate.

Nowadays intimacy or intimate relationship is a widely discussed topic all over the world and it is
very much related to social science. But we don't see much research on this topic, especially in the
eastern countries like Bangladesh So, we think that our present paper will contribute significantly to
the academia and it is appropriate for publication by Humanities and Social Sciences
Communications.
