A layer of viscous liquid of constant thickness flow steadily down an
infinite inclined plane .Determine the relationship between the
thickness of the layer and the discharge per unit width ,the flow is
laminar .Assume air resistance is negligible so that the shear stress at
the free surface is zero

A round wire of radius R1 and length L is coated continuously
by drawing it at a uniform velocity U through a pipe of radius
R2 containing liquid .If liquid is maintained at a uniform
pressure everywhere ,obtain the equation for power required
to draw it as shown in fig.
A Continuous belt dipped in a chemical bath travels vertically upwards at a
velocity (V) as shown in fig, thereby carrying a liquid film of thickness (h)
up against gravity .Assuming the flow to be fully developed laminar flow
with zero pressure gradient .Obtain an expression for discharge per unit
width of belt (q) in terms of V , h , ρ , g and μ .
