1. To develop a comprehensive understanding of Ethnicity and its various
connotations.
2. To study the rise and emergence of ethnicity and the ensued conflict.
3. To study various ethno-national issues and movements in Pakistan and their
implications for federation of Pakistan.
4. To study the response of the state of Pakistan to the ethnic conflicts.

14 Assessment Policy

The assessment of this module shall have following evaluation components:


• Semester Work 30% 30 Marks
• Mid Term Test 20% 20 Marks
• Final Examination 50% 50 Marks

The minimum pass marks for each course are 50%.


Attendance Policy:

o Attendance must be at least 80% to be eligible to appear in the final examinations of a semester.
