courses let you balance your studies with family and work commitments and bring learning to you
from anywhere in Aotearoa.

You'll need to be working or volunteering with a registered healthcare provider to take advantage
of our online study option. This will help you advance your skills while you continue to work, giving
you the flexibility, tools and resources to learn anytime, anywhere at your own pace.

Pay equity: $28.25 (From July 2022)

Entry requirements:

Academic ✓ Health and Wellbeing (Advanced Support) Level 4: Health and Wellbeing Level
3 qualification or at least 6 months relevant work experience in a Healthcare
sector
✓ Health and Wellbeing (Social & Community Services) Level 4: NCEA Level 2
qualification or overseas high school qualification
English IELTS score of at least 5.5 (General or Academic) with no band scores less than 5, or an
equivalent PTE score.
Age At least 18
Others 1. Be employed with a minimum of 20 hours in a registered healthcare provider
within the healthcare sector (either paid or voluntary).
2. Produce a workplace attestation from their employer confirming access to facilities
and resources to produce the full range of course content.
3. Police Clearance Certificate from a home country.
4. English exam score such as IELTS or PTE.

Details:
• A copy of a valid work visa (must be valid until the course ends) with a note
on eligibility to study as a condition
• Declaration form from the employer that they support studying the
programme.
• A copy of the employment letter or contract
• General or Academic IELTS score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5
• Health Worker Safety Check - Police certificates issued within the last 6
months for any countries you have lived in for more than 12 months in the
last 5 years - www.immigration.govt.nz
*You will also need a declaration form from your employer indicating their support for you to enroll in the program.
