A. INTRODUCTION/RATIONALE
Innovative packaging not only helps things stand out from the crowd, enhancing their
development and success, but it also provides more sustainable and cost-effective solutions
throughout the package's lifespan – from the warehouse and assembly line to store shelves and
the hands of customers. Every year, people witness various changes in the world as a result of
new technology and improved living conditions, such as food packaging innovation to extend the
life of the food we consume. As time passes, all humans have a tendency to find or build
something new. This innovation helps others to alleviate both personal and financial issues. As
new packaging evolves over time, this one is more convenient and manageable.
The food industry is the largest user of packaging materials, even a minor reduction in the
amount of materials used per package can result in considerable cost savings and help solve solid
waste issues. In order to save resources and money, packaging technology has focused on
lowering the volume and/or weight of goods. Source reduction, design enhancement for
convenience and handling, and environmental concerns about packaging materials and processes
Only a small percentage of food there is sold unpackaged, and food packaging is at the
heart of today's food market. Good packaging cuts down on waste and ensures that food stays
fresh for longer. Packaging is generally considered as, at best, somewhat redundant, and, at
worst, a huge waste of resources and an environmental hazard, despite its relevance and critical
role. Such opinions are formed because, by the time the majority of consumers come into contact
with a package, its job is frequently nearly complete. However, if the world is to feed 9 billion
people, the quality and quantity of food packaging will need to significantly improve.
One of the most important processes for preserving the quality of food products during
storage, transportation, and use is packaging (Kelsey, 1985). It prevents deterioration of quality
while also facilitating distribution and marketing. Packaging's primary functions are protection,
containment, information, and convenience (Kelsey, 1985). A decent package can help a firm
make money while also preserving the quality of the product. Packaging has secondary roles,
such as marketing and sales promotion, in addition to its primary function of preservation.
However, the primary purpose of food packaging is to ensure food product preservation and
secure conveyance till consumption. The biological, chemical, and physical quality of the food
product can all decrease during distribution. As a result, food packaging helps to extend the shelf
life of food goods while also maintaining their quality and safety.
In this study/topic, we created something new in food packaging. Instead of the massively
wasteful plastic packaging that fast-food restaurants typically provide, wouldn't it be great if you
could carry it all in one hand while also reducing waste? That is exactly what our
"Compartmentalized" fast food packaging solution is attempting to achieve. Because of this all-
in-one-hand disposable nature and ease of serving, restaurant owners now find it easy to serve.
Furthermore, they avoid the hassle of washing and they won't struggle with preparing foods.
Previously, other restaurants used plastic glasses to serve ice cream or soft drinks. However, due
to environmental concerns, the packaging industry has converted the widespread use of plastic
into paper cups and boxes. These are useful, environmentally friendly, and reusable. This

B. OBJECTIVES
This study focuses on understanding the value of compartmentalized cups and improving
packaging usage.-
a. Attraction
b. Convenience
c. Uniqueness
Country
The first and the major benefit of using our compartmentalized cup is that these are eco-
friendly. Basically, these are made up of disposable materials and thus do not cause any harm to
the environment.
Consumers
The first and most important advantage of using our compartmentalized cup is that it can
benefit consumers in making their lives easier. Consumers will be able to get the food they desire
Seller
Our compartmentalized cup can help sellers attract more customers because it can store
not only drinks but also various types of food, which is its main feature. Sellers will have no
trouble preparing food, especially when handing it over to customers, and this is due to the fact

B. RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
We employed a survey as a research tool. Surveys provide us with some thoughts and

Do you think compartmentalized cups are for selling only? And not
for personal use?
Are foods the only thing that you can put in the compartmentalized
cup?
Based on the consumers and people I surveyed the importance of compartmentalized cup is to
separate and organize the food to know where the food are stored so that they don't struggle
when they holding something else, and using compartmentalized cup can categorized any
substance according to it's benefits or anything that makes us please, and when they have a
restaurant they got the compartmentalize cup as a storage because it is useful for their restaurant,
especially at the market as it will save both the sellers and the consumers time.
