ACTIVITY 3: LABORATORY EQUIPMENT

Reminders: In preparing for your write-ups, the following should be reflected on your yellow
notebook:

 Activity Number and Title

 I. Introduction
 II. Objectives
 III Procedure
 IV. Analysis
 V. Generalization

I. Introduction: Science laboratory equipment allow students to interact directly with the data
that is gathered. They will be getting a first-hand learning experience by performing different
experiments on their own. Students make use of the models and then understand the different
scientific concepts and theories.

II. Objectives: Identify some common laboratory equipment used in the study of Chemistry
and explain their function.

III. Procedure: In your activity notebook (yellow notebook), identify and draw 15 laboratory
equipment used to study Chemistry. You can use different references/sources for your answers
(internet or books). Follow the format and the example shown below. (Count the beaker as
your first laboratory equipment).
