Use There is / There are to show that something exists, often in a specific place A.
Use a singular noun after there is.
There is a restaurant next to the convenience store.
Use a plural noun after there are.
There are many Asian restaurants on our street.
To form negative statements, begin with “There” followed by be and not.
There isn’t a post office next to the CBA / There aren’t any museums on Arce Avenue.
