I am a Civil Engineering student in my third year at Divine Word College of Calapan
(DWCC), and I am writing to request a formal reconsideration of the possible loss of my scholarship due to failing marks on both Structural Theory (CE4) and Hydraulics (CE9) last semester. Unfortunately, I failed to meet the maintaining general weighted average (GWA). I can guarantee you that I did my absolute best during that semester, studying even late at night. However, these subjects were extremely difficult to comprehend. This semester, as I retake these classes, I promise you that I will work twice as hard to bring my grades up to the required standard per subject. I am also quite unhappy that my scholarship ended will in this manner, but I pledge to you that I make every attempt to rectify the situation. Thank you for granting me the scholarship in the first place and for taking the time to consider this letter.
