Dear Park Ji-sung

First off all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Safira,

15 years old girl. I study at SMK 7 Malang, and my classmate call
me Fira.

The first time I heard your name, about last year. When the
journalists wrote about how hard your effort to join a boy band.
Your sacrifices and determination, finally paid off. In the age of
14 years old, you became the youngest member of Korean Pop NCT
Dream. Wow…….so amazing ! What you have done, really inspired
me. And without hesitate I bravely declare, you are my idol !

By the way, have you ever heard about Indonesia? Yes, I live in a
beautiful archipelago state, named Indonesia. It takes 7 hours and
15 minutes from Korea to Indonesia by plane. My lovely country
situated in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and
Pasific.

Indonesia consists of 17.000 islands spread out from Sabang to

Merauke. With the population more than 270 million and influenced
by multiple aspect through a long period interaction among original
indigenous customs and numerous external tradition, made
Indonesian culture so rich and unique.

The most unique and cool from so many Indonesian traditions, in my

perspective as young generation is Marakka Bola. This tradition of
cultural works owned by Barru district, South of Sulawesi.
Marakka Bola derived from “Marraka” means lift, and “Bola” refer
to a house. So Marraka Bola is a tradition of mutual cooperation in
moving houses carried out in groups among the Bugis Barru
community. And the value of Marraka Bola is togetherness,
solidarity, and unity. The essence of this tradition are good for
young generation to apply with nowdays Could you imagine people
lift a house on the street ? Only in Indonesia you will find out.

Finally, I’m just another one of your fan who adore you in this
planet. It is an honour for me to write a letter and introduce my
beloved country to you. Hopefully someday you could come to
Indonesia, and I will have a chance to take photo selfie with you,
my Idol.
