Head:
− Crochet in Soft yarn with 2 threads using hook size C/2.

1. Start by crocheting 6 sc in a magic ring (6)


2. Crochet “2 sc in each st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (12)
3. Crochet ”1 sc, 2 sc in the next st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (18)
4. Crochet ”1 sc in the next 2 sts, 2 sc in the next st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (24)
5. Crochet ”1 sc in next 3 sts, 2 sc in the next st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (30)
6. Crochet ”1 sc in the next 4 sts, 2 sc in the next st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (36)
7. Crochet ”1 sc in the next 5 sts, 2 sc in the next st”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (42)
8. Crochet sc to the end of the round (42)
9. Crochet sc to the end of the round (42)

eyes between round 8 and 9 with an interspace of 3-4 sts.

head before the opening of the head gets too small. If you wish to add a rattle box to the head,
please do so now.
17. Crochet ”1 sc in the next st, dec”. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (12)
18. Decrease. Repeat "-" to the end of the round (6). Sew up the hole. Leave a long thread for
sewing.

If you’d like, you can sew behind the eyes and pull tight before you fasten off in order to make the eyes
look like they are set a bit farther back into the face.
Embroider a nose and perhaps also eyebrows with Go Handmade embroidery yarn in any color you
like. For the nose, I have chosen a darker shade of pink.
Ears:
− Crochet in Teddy yarn with hook size D/3. Make 2.
1. Chain 3, crochet 1 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook. (2 dc)
2. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 2 dc in the next st. (3)
3. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 1 dc in the next st, and 2 dc in the last st. (4)
4. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 1 dc in the næste 2 sts, and 2 dc in the last st. (5)
5. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 1 dc in each st. (5)
6. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 1 dc in the next 2 sts, crochet 2 dc together (4)
7. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 1 dc in the next st, crochet 2 dc together (3)
8. Turn by chaining 3 (replaces 1 dc). Crochet 2 dc together (2)
Leave a long thread for sewing.

Piece around the ring:


- Crochet in Soft yarn with 2 threads using hook size C/2.

2. Crochet 1 dc in the 2. ch from the hook, and crochet sc across.
3. Turn your work by chaining 1, and crochet sc across.
4. Turn your work by chaining 1, and crochet sc across.
5. Turn your work by chaining 1, and crochet sc across.
6. Turn your work by chaining 1, and crochet sc across.
7. Turn your work by chaining 1, and crochet sc across.

Assembly:
Fold the piece around the ring and sew the piece together.

Sew the ears to the head. I have chosen to attach them at round 4.
Sew the head to the piece around the ring.
