    Napoleon Bonaparte was born in 1769 in Corsica, France to local nobility and studied at the Military School of Brienne before joining the French Revolution. After proving himself in the Italian campaigns, he became general in chief and later Emperor of France, conquering much of Europe through a series of victories. However, his invasion of Russia ended in failure and defeat at Waterloo led to his exile and death on Saint Helena in 1821.

    Corsica (France) on August
    15th into a family of local
    BIRTH nobility.

    He studied as a cadet at the


    Military School of Brienne, 1784-1793
    concluded his studies in STUDIES AND BEGINNINGS
    Paris and enlisted to
    participate in the French
    Revolution.

    1796-1797
    GENERAL IN CHIEF
    After his merits in war he is
    promoted to general in
    chief of the army in Italy
    obtaining control of
    northern Italy, Venice and
    the Netherlands.

    1798-1800
    He begins his campaigns in
    Egypt and fails in Syria,
    returns to France where he
    takes the role of First START OF CAMPAIGNS
    Consul, defeats Austria and
    takes the power in
    Northern Italy.

    1804-1807
    He is crowned emperor at
    Notre Dame and defeats
    Austria and Russia,
    EMPEROR conquers the kingdom of
    Naples and creates the
    Continental System.

    He names his brother Jose I


    King of Spain and begins the 1808-1810
    LAST CONQUEST
    independence of Spain,
    conquers the Papal States,
    the former Yugoslavia,
    Netherlands and several
    Germany territories.

    1812-1815 Invades Russian territory


    but fails, occurs the Treaty
    NAPOLEON IS DEFEATED of Paris,ends the war and
    defeat Napoleon at
    Waterloo, he is arrested by
    the British and banished.

    He died on the island of


    Saint Helena. 1821
