Auxiliary System

Auxiliary System is essential for smooth running of generation units. At 525MW CCPP, there
are three auxiliary transformer having capacity of 20MVA each. These auxiliary transformer step
down the 15kV to 11kV. If any two gas turbine generator out of three or GTG-2 is running,
generator output (15kV) is step down to 11kV for auxiliary usage. If no GTG is running, for
auxiliary consumption is import by system by stepping down 132kV to 15kV that is further step
down to 11kV.
