INTRODUCTION
The success of any organization, particularly those in the hospitality sector, depends
on the motivation of its employees. Employees who are motivated are more
effective, happier in their work, and more likely to offer superior customer service.
Therefore, it is crucial for employers in the hospitality industry to comprehend the
variables that inspire their staff and establish an environment at work that fosters
motivation and job satisfaction. With an emphasis on Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory
of Motivation, this study article intends to examine employee motivation in the
hospitality sector. In order to increase employee motivation and satisfaction, this
theory has been widely utilized in the hospitality sector. It analyses the elements that
lead to both job satisfaction and job discontent. The introduction of the paper will
give an overall overview of the hotel industry and discuss how crucial employee
motivation is in this field. The Two-Factor Theory of Motivation by Herzberg will
next be introduced, along with its relevance to the hospitality sector. Additionally,
the article will go through a number of methods that hospitality businesses can
implement to increase employee engagement, such as work enrichment, feedback,
and recognition programs. A search of appropriate literature, including scholarly
publications, academic journals, and industry reports, on employee motivation in the
hospitality industry will be part of the research technique for this study. The results
of this study will advance knowledge of employee motivation in the hotel sector and
offer useful suggestions for companies in the sector on how to boost employee
happiness and motivation. This study will show the value of employee motivation in
the hotel industry as well as the applicability of Herzberg's Two-Factor Theory of
Motivation in this field. Additionally, it will offer hospitality businesses useful
suggestions for enhancing employee motivation and job happiness, which will boost
staff retention, increase productivity, and enhance customer service

employee motivation, hospitality employers can enhance the customer experience and
maintain high standards of service. Employee turnover is a significant challenge in the
hospitality industry, and it can be costly for employers. By studying employee motivation and
identifying the factors that contribute to high turnover rates, hospitality employers can
develop strategies to improve employee retention and reduce turnover costs.
