II. Calculation part (10%)

Attempt the following three questions with necessary steps

1. A. lake has an area of 300ha, a10m3/s of runoff out flow, 15m3/s runoff inflow. The
level of the lake increased by 16m3 in the month of August and the rainfall rain over
the lake was 15mm. if we assume, there is no infiltration from the lake. Find the depth
of water evaporated from the lake in the given month.
2. In a certain year the total rainfall of station “G” is 85 cm and for the
neighboring station “H”, there is no record. But if the average annual rain fall at “G”
and “H” are 60 cm and 80 cm, respectively, then calculate the missing year’s rainfall at
“H”.
