couple of months and her Gross-Motor Skills

beginning to draw more detailed pictures when
asked to draw pictures of herself or her family.

Comment Aliyana works well during the Morning
Work Cycle and is able to complete many
activities with little to no assistance.
Aliyana is good at offering help to her
younger friends, when she sees they may
need it. She occasionally needs to be
reminded to concentrate on the task at
hand, but is easily redirected, and
completes the activity in front of her.

Social Development
Aliyana is a social and bubbly little girl who has become a great
helper in our environment towards her younger friends. She is
always the first to offer assistance to her friends or Directresses,
and does so in a kind and gentle manner. Aliyana enjoys playtime
where she interacts with her friends and is always sharing stories
with them.

Emotional Development
Aliyana has matured beautifully over the last few months, and is
eager to always assist those around her. She has empathy
towards her friends and can offer kind words to her friends, should
there be a need. Aliyana is able to deal with situations in respectful
ways towards all that are around her.

Montessori Materials
Aliyana has a good understanding for working with the Montessori
Materials. She has taken a big interest in Mathematic Activities
where she has been introduced to the Birds Eye View, and is even
able to present this activity to her younger friends. Aliyana’s writing
skills are developing well as she forms her words more accurately
with the correct spacing. Aliyana is always eager to learn
something new.
General Comment
Aliyana has had a great start to the new year. She works well
within the environment and is always helpful and willing to offer
assistance to those around her. Aliyana has a kind heart and takes
care of her younger friends. She has worked well in all areas this
term and we look forward to the new term ahead. Have a lovely
break.
