What appeals to you about joining the treehouse community? *

i like that it is a christ-centered community where everyone you’re living with wants to grow together in
Christ. I have lived in christian communities before but also have not and I am definitely interested in living
with people with similar ideals and values. For example, I had a roommate who was not christian and she
often threw parties that made me less comfortable in the home. It would also be nice to grow closer to
other christian’s just simply being around them more.

What could we do to serve you as a member of treehouse? *

I am a transfer student! So I would like to just get to know others better and have times to grow closer to the
toronto community.

What do you hope to contribute to our community? *

I am someone who really seeks Christ and tries my best to make it the focus in my life. I believe I can help
grow my brothers and sisters in christ by doing devos together, praying before meals, and just being a light
to others. I also am a pretty good cook!

What do you like about the current Treehouse values and why? What is one thing that you think *
could be improved? (long answer)

I like that the treehouse values care a lot about accountability. The house meetings and dinners shows me
that everyone knows each other well and communication is important especially when it can involve chore
issues and more. I honestly don’t see that any of the values need to be improvised. I think they are
described well and cover everything I would expect and more.

What are some bad habits that you have? (Be honest!) *

Maybe not always taking out the trash right when it gets full? Or keeping hallway lights on at night. But
honestly, I think i’m a pretty good roommate haha. I would say I’m adaptable. I don’t really care too much
about being really clean and organized, though that’s how I prefer it but if people leave stuff out i am not the
first to point it out and make a fuss about it.

Have you lived with roommates before? How was your experience with them? *

Yes I have. I loved my roommates and there was 5 of us in one unit so it did get a lil crazy at times. I work
well with others and am able to communicate and divide up chores well. It did get a little too loud though
but we made rules about only facetiming or talking to others out in the living room and that helped a lot.

There is the option to participate on a cooking team each semester (Fall & Winter). *
Responsibilities include shopping, cooking, cleaning etc. with other housemates... is this of
interest to you?

Treehouse is a place where we try to hang out together play games, watch movies, get free
McDonalds fries, etc... sometimes planned, sometimes on a whim/randomly (that's the
treehouse way), how likely are you to propose something like this?
