people/place/things. It compares the adjective (Kata Sifat) A. Comparative Degree (It compares two people/places/things) 1. Er….than… (Syllable: one/two) Example: Maimunah is taller than her sister. Jentuk is smarter than jontor. Rose is prettier than lily. Toni is lazier than Suparman More…than.. (Syllable: more than 3) Example: English lesson is more difficult than History lesson Apple is more expensive than Android. Palembang is more famous than Padang. Duta is more handsome than his brother.
B. Superlative Degree (It compares one person/place/things with many
people/places/things. 1. The est… of/in (Syllable: one/two) Example: Maimunah is the tallest child among his sisters. Jentuk is the smartest student in his class.
2. The most…. of/in (Syllable: more than 3)
Example: English lesson is the most difficult lesson of all lessons. Apple is the most expensive handphone in the market.
C. As….As (Equal) Example: 1. Ditho is as diligent as vinka. 2. Ditho is not as diligent as vinka.
