FREUDIAN REVOLUTION

Sigmund Freud was a very important thinker in the world of psychology. He had two big
ideas: one about cocaine, another about something he called the unconscious mind, and he
wrote a famous book called "The Interpretation of Dreams." Freud was interested in a substance
called cocaine. At first, he thought it might be a helpful medicine for various problems. But after
a while, Freud noticed that it could be risky and make people want it more and more. So, he
changed his mind about using it as a treatment.

Freud believed that there are thoughts and feelings deep inside us that we don't know
about. These hidden thoughts can affect our actions, even if we don't realize it. They might
appear in our dreams or the small things we do without thinking.

Freud also wrote a famous book called "The Interpretation of Dreams." In this book, he
tackled how dreams can show us what's happening in our unconscious minds. He believed that
dreams were like secret messages from our deeper thoughts and feelings.

His interest in cocaine, his idea about the unconscious mind, and his book on dream
interpretation came together in a kind of treatment he called psychoanalysis. Itr was a way to
help people understand and deal with their thoughts and feelings, especially someone they
didn't know about.

Thinking about cocaine, the unconscious mind, and writing "The Interpretation of Dreams"
were three big ideas of Freud's. Even though his views on cocaine changed, his hypotheses
about the unconscious and dreams are still significant in psychology. Freud's influence shows
us how important it is to keep exploring new ideas, just like he did.
