 Combustion Air Technology Inspired by knowledge and using the achieved experience in the field
of combustion technology, LINTEC started designing their own fully
automatic compact monoblock Asphalt Burners.
Intake combustion air
Construction
Split model, between fan and burner housing incorporating all
burner componenents as illustrated, except gas train assembly.
All electrical components mounted on the burner are pre-wired
inside the junction box and checked to avoid any wrong connec-
tion. In addition, the burner will be dry tested with oil flow, before
leaving the factory.

Capacity range
The burners have three different housings and cover the capacity
range of 6.0 to 24.0 MW. They are applicable for all asphalt drying
drums, suitable for light/heavy oil or natural gas.

Dual fuel versions for firing oil or gas is available as well.

Protection grate
Combustion head assembly can be removed from the burner
Fan motor Housing, through the hinged front cover plate, to do the required
adjustment for firing oil or gas.
Noise damper
Feature: When switching from oil to gas firing, the oil lance
can be automatically pushed backwards, just to avoid
overheat of the atomizers. The push/pull equipment
is mounted on the central tube of the oil lance.
Combustion air fan
Air inlet cone Ignition: Dual fuel ignition is used. When firing single oil di-
rect ignition is applicable.

Burner Management
The burner control is generally based on Etamatic electronic Burner
Management System.

Gas Train
The design of the gas train assembly is for the use of high calorific
natural gas, Hi=36,0 MJ/Nm³, having a supply pressure of Pe= 1 to
Oil combustion head assembly 3 bar at an outlet pressure of 200-500 mbar maximum.
