The week began with the much-anticipated LIS Week opening
and parade. We, BPED interns led the opening salvo of the program. As the LIS week unfolded, I found myself wearing multiple hats, taking on different roles to ensure the success of each event. Officiating various sports competitions was one of those responsibilities. With a whistle around my neck and a thorough understanding of the rules, I ensured fair play and a spirit of healthy competition during team matches. I encouraged teamwork, celebrated individual achievements, and emphasized the values of sportsmanship and camaraderie. As the curtains closed on the LIS week, I carried the joy and inspiration of the experience with me. It reinforced my belief in the transformative power of education, the importance of fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, and the need to empower students to explore their passions and talents.
