RULE
LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND MAKE UP
SENTENCES USING THE SECOND CONDITIONAL If + Past Simple - would, wouldn’t + verb

It is used:

1. to talk about things that are not true


now, and are not very likely to happen in
the future
If Mark didn’t play games, he would be rich have time, visit London If I won the lottery, I would have a villa.

2. to talk about imaginary situations


People would read minds, if they were
superheroes.

3. to give advice
If I were you, I would change the job.

THE SECOND CONDITIONAL
REWRITE THE SENTENCES AND KEEP THE SAME MEANING

Example: My car is out of order. I won't drive you there.


If my car wasn't out of order, I would drive you there.
