REFLECTION
In this unit, we have explored the the discovery of American civilisation and the way it operates linked to the richness of its culture
and the historical context at the origin of its influence. We have also learnt that this unit could be an opportunity to arouse the interest
of the United States civilization among students and give them the desire to visit the country. And finally, we have found out that the
position of the USA in today’s world as well as its political, economical and military power are influential.

REFLECTION
In this unit, we have explored the concepts of holidays and festivals through identities, relationships and culture .We have not only
learnt about different types of holidays, festivities and their purposes worldwide, but also their specificities and to what extent these
great events could strengthen humans’ relationships. It also allowed students to realise not only the impact of the holidays on
communities and their cultures but especially the role they can play in conflict resolution.
