The Analog Power and Interface Division (APID) focuses on areas including a variety of
intelligent power management integrated solutions (PMIC), In-Vehicle Network LIN /
CAN automotive solutions, H-Bridge and BLDC Motor-Control solutions and serves
many other systems such as USB-Power Delivery, USB Power Switch, Ultrasound, SiC-
Controllers, MOSFET-Controllers, …
Job description:

The Manager Analog Circuit Design will join our global RD organization within the
APID Business Unit. The primary responsibilities include, but will not be limited to,
managing in a hands-on fashion to technically guide a global organized Analog Design
engineering team to utilize their analog design expertise. As well as to utilize their
excellent interpersonal skills to drive the development process for foundation of analog
IPs and for analog system integration targeting the client’s broad product portfolio of
complex Analog-Mixed-Signal embedded semiconductor solutions.

The ideal candidate will:

- Manage a global team of Analog Engineers both experienced and New College
Graduates
- Be responsible for leading/mentoring/coaching and hiring engineers to further
extend the existing analog design engineering teams.
- Work with different functional MCHP teams like digital design, system
verification, layout design, application, system architect, marketing, product and
test engineering to successfully bring products to market in time.
- Work on Continuous Improvements and Lessons Learned to further improve
cycle times of analog developments of new products.
- Lead analog design execution and report status and progress to senior
management.

Key Qualifications:

• Requires 8+ years combined experience in design of analog circuits and in a


global technical leadership.
• Knowledge of semiconductor product development cycles
• In-depth knowledge of analog design challenges
• In-depth knowledge of ESD and LU challenges in IC design
• Ability to lead, debug and perform root cause analysis at analog circuitry level
• Experience in industry standard analog design and verification tools and
methodologies
• Knowledge to ensure a robust hand-shaking process between analog and digital
domains in timing critical AMS systems.
• Background about analog behavior modelling needs using SystemVerilog /
VerilogAMS
• Familiarity with Cadence, Mentor tool suites
• Familiarity with analog Design-For-Test (DFT) requirements
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to encourage team members
• Strong dream to own and drive global team development
• Extraordinary teammate with excellent communication skills
• BSEE / MSEE degree in Electronics, Automatics or Electrical Engineering
