 10% of the faculty are possessing Ph.D. qualification and another 10% of the
faculty are encouraged to pursue Ph.D.
 Funding students to promote innovation - Student participation in Innovation,
Incubation and Entrepreneurship activities through IIC.
 Providing remedial classes to slow learners and coaching to the fast learners for
higher studies opportunities such as GATE, IELTS, PGECET and Foreign languages.
 Good infrastructure and well-equipped laboratories with modern tools.
 Placement record is good. Initiative from the department for placements in core
domains other than central Training and Placement cell.
 The practice of conducting Guest lectures, Industrial visits and Industrial training
has been enhanced.
 The functioning of Research groups to promote better quality research and
publications has been strengthened.
 Industry Internship is made mandatory for all students
 Continuous inputs from all stakeholders like Alumni, Academicians and Industry
experts are taken to improve the curriculum on regular basis.
 Participation of students in Sports, Games at National and International level, NCC,
activities.
